U.S. President Donald Trump has exempted goods from both Canada and Mexico under a North American trade pact from the 25-per-cent tariffs he imposed earlier this week. The exemption will expire April 2. Trump had earlier only mentioned a reprieve for Mexico, but the amended tariffs order – initially issued Tuesday – covers Canada as well.
