I’m not even going to ask what Jeremy Clarkson was thinking when he wrote his indefensible op-ed about Meghan Markle in the London tabloid The Sun on Dec. 16 because he clearly wasn’t thinking — he was hating out loud. The screed, following the launch of the second volume of the “Harry & Meghan" docuseries, was vulgar; it was a dangerous incitement to violence and it helped to normalize the spewing of misogynistic bile. It was incredibly stupid of The Sun to publish the nasty paragraph in question — a failure of editorial policy and responsibility. There should be safeguards...
