The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is out today with a new report that anti-Semitic incidents reached a historically high level across the U-S in 2021. “We tracked nationally over 2700 incidents of assault harassment and vandalism targeting members of the Jewish community or Jewish institutions in 2021 which was the highest we have ever tracked.” The ADL’s David Goldenberg says last year a total of 175 anti-Semitic incidents in Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin combined. That was a 62-percent increase from 2020–and 202-percent higher than the total number of incidents reported just five years ago for 2016.
